This autumn marks the 150th season since Ealing Football Club (RU) was founded in October 1871. To mark this historic event a number of commemorative celebrations will take place. These will include a special Club Day on Sunday September 19th which will include all Minis and Youth players and their parents plus all other Club members who wish to attend.
Later in the season, after Christmas, a more formal Dinner Dance for adult members and their partners will be held.
On Saturday 30th October a Sesquicentennial Dinner will be held in the Olympic Pavilion at Vallis Way. This evening will of course look to celebrate all 150 years of the Ealing Football Club (RU) and its modern identities Ealing Trailfinders RFC and Ealing Trailfinders 1871 RFC, but in particular will focus on the 50 years since the Centennial Dinner in 1971 as we’ll have guests from all of these decades in attendance. Open to players and members, the dinner will have a special appeal to past players and members wishing to meet and renew old friendships as well as seeing how The Club has changed over the last 50 years.
Further details will follow for all of these events. This announcement allows diary dates to be reserved and plans to travel to Vallis Way to be put in place. If you have any further questions or wish to declare an interest in attending then please contact Club President Dick Craig via 150Dinner@EalingRugby.co.uk to do this.
